Veterinarian (DVM), Owner
Tanya Hoffman, DVM, CVSMT
Dr. Tanya Hoffman lives outside of Monticello with her husband and 2 kids, their dog Aspen, and their cat Ben. (Pictured above is her previous Golden Glacia).Tanya has been caring for the pets of the Black Earth area for over 8 years and is looking forward to continuing these relationships and adding to the service your local vet clinic can provide. Prior to starting to work full time in Black Earth Dr. Hoffman taught in the Veterinary Technician program at MATC for a number of years producing a lot of the wonderful veterinary technicians in the Madison area. Dr. Hoffman's special interests are in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy, disease management with holistic methods, and laser therapies.

Becca Phillips
Becca lives outside of Blanchardville with her husband Kevin, her dogs Josey Wales, Chaos, and Jasper, her horses Buddy and Little Brother, and her cats Lefty, Fuzzy, and Trevor. She has been interested in veterinary medicine since she was a little girl. She graduated from Globe University’s Veterinary Technician program in September of 2013 and has been working in Black Earth since January of 2014. Outside of work, Becca enjoys gardening, horseback riding, cooking, fishing, campfires, and playing with her dogs.

CC Sheldon, DVM (and Bennie)
Dr. CC Sheldon has been in the Black Earth, WI area for many years and has been caring for the pets of this region for 8 years. Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Sheldon worked for decades as an instructor at Madison Area Technical College in the Veterinary Technician program. Dr. Sheldon has also dedicated many years to spay and neuter programs for area cats. She is a wonderful person with true caring and compassion.

Alesia Chalmers
Alesia lives on the outskirts of Baraboo with her husband, their two cats Topaz and Everest, and crazy young black lab Allis. She graduated from the Rockford Career College Veterinary Technician Program in 2020 and has been caring for Black Earth area pets since July of 2021. In her free time some of the activities she likes to do are fishing, hunting, garden tractor pulling, hiking, camping and being outdoors.

Dani Eastman
Dani grew up in the Black Earth area and has always wanted to care for the pets of her hometown. We are thrilled to have her join us at Creekside to begin caring for pets again. She will be working on weekends and doing fill in work when our full time techs take some well earned vacation time. You can see Dani during the weeks at the Village Hall.

Jayde Rundle
Jayde grew up in Spring Green, WI and now calls Barneveld home. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2021 after graduating from Madison Area Technical College (MATC). Her background includes two years in fast-paced emergency medicine at VCA in Middleton and three years in general practice in Dodgeville, giving her a well-rounded and confident approach to patient care.
At home, Jayde shares her life with a lively crew of pets: Apollo the black Lab, Honeypot the Corgi (who's a therapy dog), Bagheera and Lucifer the black cats, Rajah the tortie, and a charming hedgehog named Sir Lancelot. Huskies and corgis are especially close to her heart! In her free time, Jayde enjoys pet sitting through Rover, therapy work with Honeypot, and spending time with her husband and their furry (and spiky) family.

Kayla Cribbs
Kayla is a student at MATC in the veterinary technician program. She has a labrador retriever named Bill (see above!) and in her free time she likes to hunt, fish, camp, ride horses, and spend time outdoors with her family.

Leah Mason
Leah graduated from UW-Madison in May of 2023. She started caring for pets in the Black Earth area in April 2024 and is looking forward to learning more about the veterinary world. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and riding her horse.

Krisann McElvain
Krisann has a degree in Zoology, a minor in Equine Science, and came to work with us through volunteering with Ocooch Mountain Humane Society in Richland Center. She worked as a veterinary technician for about a decade in the Chicagoland area before moving to Wisconsin in 2018. She is an accredited USDA photographer and spends much of her spare time volunteering her professional photography skills to pet rescues to help get animals adopted. Krisann lives in Lone Rock with her husband and two cats - Biggs Darklighter and Marlo Marzipan - and enjoys line dancing, kayaking, hiking, camping, and horseback riding whenever she has free time.

Battie
Battie experienced an incident that resulted in her being brought to us after losing her tail, but she did not lose any of her independent personality. She loves to sneak around the clinic and is a great lap warmer.

Bennie came to us after being dropped off a local farm. He has made himself right as home at Creekside and thinks everyone (and every animal) is his friend. He's a character- stop in to meet him and say Hi!

Anya started working at Creekside as a bather and groomer in training in Fall 2025. She is amazingly patient and wonderful with every pet she cares for!
