One of our wonderful long-time groomers, Kassy Chapman, has moved to a new state for a new life adventure. We are going to miss her dearly, but want to wish her the very best of luck on this new chapter!​

We need someone with previous grooming experience who can handle various breeds and temperaments with patience and a smile.

Qualifications

Must possess skills in animal care to ensure the comfort and safety of pets during grooming sessions.

Ability to lift and maneuver dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Skilled with grooming tools, such as nail clippers, ear cleaners and different brushes.

Detail oriented

Understanding of the characteristics and grooming needs of different coat types (e.g., short, long, curly)

Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with pets and their owners and provide excellent client experiences.

Understanding of animal welfare principles to handle animals ethically and compassionately.

Attention to detail, patience, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

1 year minimum of previous grooming experience and your own professional grooming equipment (aside from a table) is required.​​

Full Grooming
This one includes it all! Full bath, nail trim, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, blow out, deshedding, and good trim (if needed).
Medicated Bath
Similar to "Just a Bath" but will use a prescription shampoo. May need to be done a few time a week. Takes a bit longer than a regular bath as the medicated product needs contact time to do its magic.
Just a Bath
As the name implies, just a bath. A good scrub down, rinse, and towel drying. Your pup will return home cleaning, smelling great, and with a touch less hair.
Shave Down
Cats or Dogs may need this. Our long haired friends can get matted rather easily. Some animals may utilize this just to stay cooler in the hot summer months. If cats are a bit sassy we can discuss some medicated or sedated groom options as well.
Add On's
These items are included with a full groom, but can be added to "Just a Bath". Nail Trim,
Ear Cleaning,
Anal Gland Expression (external by grooming staff or internal by CVT). If you pet has anal gland issues we recommend an internal expression.
